About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a key transformation initiative within Private and Retail Banking Operations. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, and risk/compliance functions to drive change initiatives from project initiation through implementation and closure.
Key Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end project delivery for Private and Retail Banking Operations transformation initiatives.
- Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements related to entity consolidation, operating model changes, and migration activities.
- Perform current-state and target-state process mapping, including controls, hand-offs, roles, responsibilities, and management information reporting.
- Identify process gaps and support the design of effective business solutions.
- Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, and critical paths to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) and support change control processes through appropriate governance channels.
- Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams to ensure requirements meet MAS regulations and internal control standards, including audit trails and segregation of duties.
- Define, coordinate, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover planning, and change readiness activities across people, processes, data, and systems.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions, drive decision-making, and provide regular project updates to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- With 3-5 proven experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager within complex transformation programmes, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Expertise in business requirements gathering, process analysis, process modelling, and stakeholder management.
- Experience working on regulatory, risk, and control-driven initiatives within financial services environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
- Good presentation and report-writing skills, with experience preparing materials for senior management and governance forums.
- Exposure to migrations, legal entity consolidation, operating model redesign, or large-scale change programmes would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of Private Banking operations and processes
- Experience within Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Retail Banking operations.
- Familiarity with MAS regulatory requirements and banking control frameworks.
- Experience supporting UAT, migration, and change management activities within banking transformation projects.
